The Hansen's Group of Companies donated $50,000 in cash donations to various Charities and Food Banks during the 2022 Holiday Season.
Employees joined in their own way to support with food items donated from coast to coast.
Cash donations of $10,000.00 were presented to the Winnipeg Christmas Cheer Foundation, the Regina Food Bank and the Veterans Food Bank of Calgary; these organizations were extremely grateful. We delivered over 700 lbs of non perishable food to the Veterans Food bank it filled the interior and box of a pick up truck. Many thanks to our staff for their generous donations and a big thank you to Karin for her sizable contribution.
We were extremely delighted to present Foodbanks BC with a $10,000.00 Annual Charity Donation. Foodbanks BC works together with most major foodbanks in BC and we asked them to disperse the funds to those locations that are most in need this year. Paula mentioned that the Foodbanks up north seem to be struggling the most this year in these challenging times, so that is where the funds will likely go.
Hansen's Group of Companies is extremely honored to present its Annual Charity Donation of $10,000 to the Feeding Others of Dartmouth Society (FOOD) with an amazing Food drive collection of much needed food items from our employees in the Atlantics.
We were overjoyed to present an Annual Charity Donation of $2500 to Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC) and fill the Food Banks two (2) huge bins with a total weight of 510 lbs of much needed food items.
